What is the point of this Web Site?
Partsbook was established as a repository for parts that companies supply and stock. Sell parts from your warehouse or reduce the inventory levels you normally carry on parts well stocked by other members. Need parts urgently? Find them here! With Partsbook you can:

How can I sell more?
- List only what you have in stock or participate in our Real Time Inventory program
- Respond to your RFQs as quickly as possible - many customers need parts urgently

What is the difference between Basic and Professional memberships??
Our basic plan is best for end users of equipment. Validity on pricing is limited so if you are planning to resell parts or need payment terms you should get our Professional Plan. Basic members are also charged a 5% commission on sales and may only list a limited amount of items. Finally, Basic accounts are limited to one user per company.
Can I post items I need to buy or sell even if they aren't listed on your site?
We have disabled this feature to keep the integrity of our parts data high. If there is a part that we do not have listed that you would like to sell, please contact us and provide us with as much information as possible. At a minimum we will need a part number and description.
But I am looking for hundreds of parts, it will take forever! Can you help?
Yes! (This is for Pro Members only; Basic members are limited to sourcing parts individually.) Our RFQ system allows you to upload an entire spreadsheet of part numbers you are looking to buy. We go through each of your items and send a Request for Quotation on your behalf to all suppliers with matching parts. Before any RFQ is sent you can can choose to omit any suppliers you are not interested in doing business with. Be careful how you proceed because suppliers can restrict buyers who waste their time.
I work in a different industry, can I list those items too?
Absolutely! Contact us and we will be glad to set up a new industry for you.
I listed some parts, why didn't anyone contact me?
There are hundreds of thousands of parts in the Industry and so the chances of being contacted is related to how many items you have listed. Professional members can list tens of thousands of parts and generally enjoy more success than Basic members.
Can I list my parts on Partsbook AND my own website?
Yes! We offer an API for Professional Members and now have a private label solution so you can enjoy the power of Partsbook on your own domain. Contact us if you'd like to list your items on your own website.
